October 18-24 is National Teen Driver Safety Week. Occurring every third week of October, this is a time for us to remember that car crashes are the leading cause of death for 15-20 year olds.
A major cause of teen driver fatalities is driver distraction. To this end, The Century Council has released a short flash game to educate teens on the dangers of distracted driving.
The Concentration Game is designed to illustrate to teens (and drivers generally) just how difficult it is to focus on driving when distracted.
We hope to start a dialogue between teens, parents, driving instructors and educators about the dangers that distracted driving can pose for teens on the road. Embed the game on your website or blog and print the poster to spread the word.
